VTG 90s/2000s Woman With Bonnet Faceless Folk Art Country Doll With Tag 9.5”
This listing is for a vintage handmade folk art country doll by The Sewing Room. The attached tag reads:
“Handcrafted sewing specialties made with loving care just for you.”
She is an Amish inspired faceless doll created in the popular country and primitive décor style of the late 1990s to early 2000s.
The doll features a turned wooden faceless head, bonnet, lace trimmed bodice, floral cotton dress, and soft sculpted arms with clasped hands. She has a weighted base allowing her to sit or stand for display and retains her original hang tag, which adds to her collectibility.
Please note: there appears to have originally been a small soft decorative accessory attached in her hands, which is no longer present. The hands remain intact and she displays beautifully as is.
This doll was made for decorative display, commonly used as country shelf décor or as a light interior door or floor sitter. She is not a toy and not a pincushion.
Approximate era: late 1990s to early 2000s
Condition: good vintage condition with light age related wear consistent with handmade items
Maker: The Sewing Room
A charming piece of vintage country and primitive décor, perfect for farmhouse, Americana, and folk art collections.
She measures approximately 9.5” tall x 3.5” wide near the base.
